Summary:
The Applications for Federal Assistance and Certifications are required documents to be submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) as a part of the FY 2017-2018 Pinellas County Consolidated Application (Annual Action Plan) for federal CDBG, HOME and ESG funding.
The deadline for submission of the FY 2017-2018 Action Plan to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development is August 16, 2017.
Background Information:
On June 20, 2017, the Board approved the FY2017-2018 Annual Action Plan and authorized the Chairman to execute the applications and certifications. Subsequently, on July 3, 2017, HUD released updated versions of the forms that are required to be used in the FY2017-2018 Action Plan submission. Revisions to the forms include updated funding opportunity numbers on the applications, removal of outdated grant language and additional regulatory citations.
Fiscal Impact:
Pinellas County receives an annual entitlement allocation of federal CDBG, HOME, and ESG funds. In FY 2017-2018, the County will receive the following allocations:

$ 240,000.00 CDBG Anticipated Program Income
$1,079,510.00 HOME Entitlement
$ 800,000.00 HOME Anticipated Program Income
$ 222,856.00 ESG Entitlement
