Approval and execution by the County Administrator of the Lobbying and Litigation Certification for Grants and Cooperative Agreements with the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) for closure of the Fine Particulate Matter Ambient Monitoring Network Agreement. 

 

                     Electronic signature required to certify funds were not used to engage in lobbying of the Federal Government or in litigation against the United States.

                     Grant funded project activities completed March 31, 2025.

                     Approval of this certification has no fiscal impact on Pinellas County.

Summary:

The Lobbying and Litigation Certificate must be completed and submitted to the USEPA no later than ninety (90) days after project completion. Certification is required for the closeout of the Grant. Grant funded project activities were completed March 31, 2025.

 

Background/Explanation:

This Grant Agreement provided funding to monitor fine particulate matter air pollution levels in accordance with USEPA requirements and standards to demonstrate compliance with National Ambient Air Quality Standards.

Authority for the County Administrator to sign this Certification is granted under Code Section 2-62 (a)(1).
