Summary:
The purpose of this action is to transfer County property, consisting of two parcels, to the City by deed. The execution of the deed and the corresponding resolution will accomplish the transfer.
Background Information:
A perpetual drainage easement was acquired on March 11, 1996 through County-owned pond parcels. The County desires to transfer the operation and maintenance responsibilities of the easement to the City, divesting the County of any further rights or responsibility in the operation of the drainage system.
This is a companion to Legistar item 17-529D, in which the County Administrator has delegated authority under 2-62(a)(5) to transfer the easement to the City. The transfer of property by deed must appear separately before the Board.
