Approval of the Third Amendment to the Agreement with Yellowstone Landscape - Southeast, LLC d/b/a Yellowstone Landscape for mowing services.

 

                     This contract provides the Facilities and Real Property Division with mowing/landscaping services in addition to palm pruning, mulching, irrigation system maintenance, and repair and fertilizing at various County locations.

                     This Third Amendment adds two locations (ICOT-13600 ICOT Boulevard, Clearwater, and 2861 110th Street, North, St. Petersburg) and increases mowing cycles for locations added in the Second Amendment for an increase in the amount of $340,515.00.  Unit prices remain the same as originally awarded.

                     The Second Amendment approved by the County Administrator on March 25, 2023, added seventeen service locations (due to the inability of the original awarded firm to perform) to the contract for an increase in the total not to exceed the amount of $86,496.00.

                     The First Amendment with Yellowstone Landscape was approved by the Division Director of Purchasing and Risk Management Division on August 18, 2022, reallocating available funding from unspecified services to specified services with no change to the total contract value.

                     Funding for this agreement is sufficiently included in the Fiscal Year 2024 Adopted Budget of the Department of Administrative Services in the General Fund.

 

Contract No. 189-0354-B increase in the amount of $340,515.00 for a revised total contract value of $1,329,703.00 with an estimated average annual expenditure of $332,425.75, effective through June 22, 2025; Authorize the Chairman to sign and the Clerk of the Circuit Court to attest.

This Third Amendment adds two service location (ICOT - 13600 Icot Blvd., Clearwater and 2861 110th St. N., St. Petersburg), adds additional cycles to Second Amendment locations, and additional funds for existing locations for an increase in the amount of $229,095.00.

Landscape -Southeast, LLC dba Yellowstone Landscape on October 7, 2021 in the amount of $902,692.00 for a forty-eight (48) month term for an annual expenditure of $225,673.00.

The First Amendment with Trimac Outdoor to descope the contract was approved by the Board of County Commissioners on October 26, 2021.

The First Amendment with Yellowstone Landscape was approved by the Division Director of Purchasing and Risk Management Division on August 18, 2022 reallocating available funding from unspecified services to specified services with no change to the total contract value.

The Second Amendment approved by the County Administrator on 3/25/2023 added seventeen (17) service locations to the contract for an increase in the total not to exceed amount of $86,496.00.

On April 25, 2023, the Board of County Commissioners terminated the contract with Trimac Outdoor.

Background Information:

The Board of County Commissioners awarded contract number 189-0354-B to Trimac Outdoor on June 23, 2020 in the amount of $1,536,900.00 for a sixty (60) month term.

The County Administrator approved a partial award of contract to Yellowstone- -Southeast, LLC dba Yellowstone Landscape on October 7, 2021 in the amount of $902,692.00 for a forty-eight (48) month term for an annual expenditure of $225,673.00.

 

The First Amendment with Trimac Outdoor to descope the contract was approved by the Board of County Commissioners on October 26, 2021.
