Approval and execution by the County Administrator of the First Amendment to the Agreement with Geyen Group South, Inc. for carpet maintenance cleanings services.
• This contract provides carpet maintenance cleaning services to all County locations.
• This amendment adds carpet maintenance cleaning services to six additional County locations now requiring carpet cleaning as listed below under “summary”.
• The Board of County Commissioners approved the award of contract to Geyen Group South, Inc in the amount of $966,079.23 on December 13, 2022.
• Funding is derived from the operating budgets of requesting departments.
• This contract is established as a maintenance, repair, and operating contract of which the County Administrator may approve increases up to 50% of the original award amount per County Code 2-184 (b).
Contract No. 22-0574-B increase in the amount of $83,455.68 for a revised contract value of $1,049,534.91 with an average annual expenditure of $349,844.97 through December 12, 2025.

Largo, 315 Court St. Clearwater, PSC Campus 10750 Ulmerton Rd. Largo, J Wing 14250 49th St. N. Clearwater, Sheriffs Warehouse 10750 Ulmerton Rd. Largo, 501 First Ave N. Floors 1-7 and 10 St. Petersburg.

This contract creates purchasing availability; it does not guarantee that the full contract amount will be spent. Departments may use up to the full amount, but no more. Funding is derived from multiple Funds, Centers, Accounts, and Programs, dependent on the requesting department.
Expenses related to this contract are not fully budgeted for in FY23 and are expected to cost between $32,106.42 and $125,174.97 more than budgeted for.
