Recommended Action:

Recommended Action

Approval of the amended resolution retaining the escheated parcel in the ownership of Pinellas County.

 

                     The Property is located within the unincorporated boundaries of Pinellas County.

                     The Property will be added to the surplus properties list held in Real Estate Management.

 

Authorize the Clerk of the Court to attest and record the Resolution in the public records of Pinellas County.

Summary:

This resolution shall amend and control over any conflicting provisions of the previous stipulations of Resolution 19-5.

 

Background Information:

The Board of County Commissioners approved Resolution 19-5 on February 26, 2019, wherein the Board approved the conveyance of a certain escheated property to the City of Seminole.  Upon further staff research, it has been determined that the Property is located within unincorporated County and should escheat to the County.
