Recommended Action

Approval and execution by the County Administrator, as requested by the Business Technology Services (BTS) department, of the First Amendment with Ciber, Inc for a corporate assignment to Ciber Global LLC for requirements of information technology staff augmentation services.

Contract no. 156-0087-P (RG); effective through March 20, 2022.  This amendment has no impact on the financial aspect of this contract.

Summary:

The intent of this Amendment is to formally acknowledge a corporate assignment, from Ciber Inc to Ciber Global, LLC (one of 13 firms awarded). Recently, the company sold all of its assets effective June 8, 2017 to Ciber Global LLC, a subsidiary of HTC Global LLC, who now assumes all obligations and liabilities of the Information Technology Staff Augmentation agreement.  This acknowledgement is necessary to provide an accurate audit trail for future purchases and to avoid payment delays.

 

Background/Explanation:

This contract was originally approved by the Board of County Commissioners on March 21, 2017. The contract is task order based providing BTS the ability to seek competitive quotes for staff augmentation services among thirteen (13) firms for project based needs.

The corporate assignment will have no impact on the terms and conditions of the contract.

 

Fiscal Impact:

 

This Amendment has no impact on the financial aspect of this Agreement.

Funding is derived from the BTS Operating Budget

 

Delegated Authority:

Authority for the County Administrator to approve and execute this Amendment is granted under Section 2-62(a)(2).
