Summary:
Per this Grant Agreement the Air Quality Division shall provide twelve (12) months of compliance and enforcement services through June 30, 2017 to the State.
Background/Explanation:
The Air Quality Division is recognized by the FDEP and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as a program that meets all State of Florida and Federal compliance and enforcement program requirement. Funding from the State is provided retroactively for implementing the Federal and State Title V major stationary source regulatory control program within the County for July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2017.
Please return both signed originals to Ajaya Satyal, Air Quality Division, for transmittal to FDEP for counter-execution. Once fully signed, a copy of the agreement will be included for receipt and file.
Fiscal Impact:
This Agreement provides reimbursement to the County in the amount of $70,054.00 for the agreement period. No County match is required.
Delegated Authority:
Authority for the County Administrator to sign this Agreement is granted under Code Section 2-62(a)(1).
