Summary:
This contract provides the County with comprehensive federal legislative and executive branch strategic advice, liaison services, and advocacy for legislation consistent with the County’s legislative program.
The current agreement is based on the terms and conditions of the City of Clearwater Contract No. 06-13, which will expire December 31, 2018.
Background Information:
This purchase authorization and agreement for federal legislative consultant services was originally approved by the Director of Purchasing on February 28, 2014, and amended on January 13, 2015 by the Board of County Commissioners. The Second Amendment extended the purchase authorization through February 27, 2017.
Fiscal Impact:
Total expenditure approved to date: $285,000.00
Estimated twenty-two (22) month expenditure: $170,000.00
Revised total estimated expenditure: $455,000.00
Funding is derived from the General Fund, Countywide Support Services - Intergovernmental Program.
