Approval by the County Administrator of an increase to the blanket purchase agreement (BPA) with Crawford Maintenance Services, LLC (CMS) for the Surface Water Work Order Contract.

Contract No. 134-0379-B(LN) increase to the BPA of $500,000.00 through December 31, 2016 for a total expenditure of $5,250,000.

Summary:

An increase to the BPA for the Surface Water Work Order Contract is requested to meet FY16 open conveyance program goals; specifically Curlew Creek Channel A and McKay Creek Channel 1 projects.  This increase should provide ample funding to complete all other projects scheduled through the award of the new contract.

 

Background/Explanation:

This contract was approved by the Board of County Commissioners on August 5, 2014 and amended on December 12, 2014 to include additional pay items.  The County Administrator approved the final term extension on April 8, 2015, a correction to the estimated annual expenditure on May 7, 2015, an increase to the BPA on March 5, 2016 and a time extension and increase on July 9, 2016.

 

Fiscal Impact:

Total estimated expenditure through December 31, 2016:       $4,750,000.00

Total increase not to exceed:                                                    $   500,000.00

Revised estimated expenditure through December 31, 2016:  $5,250,000.00

 

Delegated Authority:

Authority for the County Administrator to approve an increase in funds to a BPA is granted under Code Section 2-184 (b).
