Approval of assignment and execution of the First Amendment to the Agreement by the County Administrator with Hardesty & Hanover, LLC for roadway, drainage, structural, civil and traffic engineering services. 

Contract no. 145-0342-CN(RW) First Amendment through February 8, 2021.

Summary:

The First Amendment acknowledges the assignment of the contract from The Heimburg Group, Inc. (Heimburg) to Hardesty & Hanover, LLC (Hardesty). 

On January 30, 2016, Heimburg entered into an assignment and assumption agreement with Hardesty and acquired the assets of Heimburg.  Hardesty without limitations assumed this contract and has agreed to the same pricing, terms and conditions as awarded.

 

Background/Explanation:

This contract provides professional engineering services for multi-discipline engineering projects relating to design, permitting and other engineering services associated with roadways, sidewalks, drainage and other areas. 

The Board of County Commissioners approved award to the twenty-two (22) highest ranked firms on February 9, 2016.

 

Fiscal Impact:

This amendment does not involve any change to the award amount.

 

The original approved five (5) year not to exceed expenditure is $40,000,000.00 with an upset limit of $1,818,181.81 for each of the twenty-two (22) firms awarded.

 

Funding is provided through various Capital Improvement Program budgets and/or operating budgets per individual work assignments on an as needed basis. 

 

Delegated Authority:

Authority for the County Administrator to acknowledge this assignment and execute the amendment is granted under Code Section 2-62(a)(2).
