Contract No.112-0413-CN (RW); in the amount of $192,800.00 through October 21, 2018. Chairman to sign and Clerk of Circuit Court to attest.

Summary:
This amendment is to provide for construction administration services for the Taxiway Rehabilitation Project, Phase 2. The increase of $192,800.00 is inclusive of $17,000 contingency. In addition, the amendment extends the term through October 21, 2018.
Construction administration services include but are not limited to: participation in pre-construction conferences; drafting of contract plans and documents for bidding purposes; participation in weekly construction meetings; periodic visits to the construction site to observe progress of work; review of shop drawings and other submissions by the contractor; provision of design clarifications and assistance in change order preparation.
Background Information:
An agreement with Jacobs for professional consulting services related to design for the Taxiway Rehabilitation - Phase 2 project was approved by the Board of County Commissioners on September 17, 2013 in the amount of $594,345.00 for a thirty (30) month term.
The First Amendment was subsequently approved by the Board on February 23, 2016 to provide for additional design services in the amount of $301,214.00 for the pavement rehabilitation of Taxiway T.
Fiscal Impact:
Total approved expenditure to date: $895,559.00
Requested increase for second amendment: $192,800.00
Total revised estimated expenditure: $1,088,359.00
Funding is derived from Passenger Facility Charges, Federal Aviation Administration grants and Florida Department of Transportation grants.
