• Per Resolution 14-94, the Committee is capped at 25 appointees.
• Names of the applicants can be viewed in the attached packet.
• Suggested voice vote to approve slate of candidates.

Background Information:
The Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) provides students countywide an opportunity to assist the Board of County Commissioners with identifying their needs, to organize activities that are beneficial to the community, to suggest services they need as a group, and to become active participants with their adult counterparts in county programs.
A virtual Open House was held on September 2, and the application period closed on September 11. As a result, we received __ applications from well-qualified, high-achieving students across the county.
In 2011, the Pinellas County YAC was re-established. In 2014, Resolution 14-94 increased the maximum number of students on YAC from 15 to 25 members in response to an unprecedented number of applications.
