Approval and execution by the County Administrator, utilizing the authority granted by the Pinellas County Community Redevelopment Agency via Resolution 19-10 in furtherance of implementing the Lealman Community Redevelopment Area (CRA) Plan, to execute time-only change order requests related to site improvements at properties located within the Lealman CRA associated with previously awarded grants.
• The purpose of the Residential Improvement & Demolition Program is to reduce or eliminate the costs associated with improving and enhancing the exterior appearance of the applicant’s home and property, or to assist in the removal of substandard structures when the cost to rehabilitate is not feasible.
• Properties must be located within the boundaries of the Lealman CRA to be eligible for grant funds.
• The property must be structurally sound, meet Florida building codes, and local housing codes. Grant awards of up to $10,000 and $7,500 are available for residential improvements and demolition of substandard structures, respectively.
• The addresses for which the general contractor is requesting a time-only, 90-day contract extension to complete the previously approved work are as follows:

Summary:

Eligible properties include single-family detached houses, townhomes, villas, cooperatives, condominiums and manufactured housing. The property must be structurally sound, meet Florida building codes, and local housing codes. Grant awards of up to $10,000 and $7,500 are available for residential improvements and demolition of substandard structures, respectively.
Approved grant applicants are required to execute an Acceptance of Grant and Conditions document, which contains the associated scope of work, and a work contract between the applicant, contractor and the Pinellas County Community Redevelopment Agency (Agency).
