Summary:
This interlocal agreement is between the County and all local municipalities who will participate in the cooperative Disaster Debris Collection and Removal Services, and Disaster Debris Monitoring and Management Services contracts in an effort to ensure compliance with the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) Public Assistance Program and Policy Guide.
Background/Explanation:
This interlocal agreement identifies the responsibilities between the County and the participating local municipalities as cooperators of the Disaster Debris Collection and Removal Services, and Disaster Debris Monitoring and Management Services contracts. Each party is individually responsible to seek their own FEMA reimbursements. The County has also provided a draft participant agreement as an exhibit to the interlocal agreement for use by municipalities to enter into the disaster debris contracts directly with the County’s contractor(s) as joint participants of the disaster debris contracts.
