Contract no. 167-0248-G(RG); increase in amount not to exceed $14,924.88 for a revised contract total of $101,258.43; effective through April 30, 2019.

Summary:
An increase to the purchase authorization with Selectron is requested on behalf of BTS in order to provide for additional services related to VoicePermits which is part of Selectron’s Relay Platform. This software is a component of the Accela Civic Platform Technology Upgrade Project as previously approved by the Board of County Commissioners (Board) on April 25, 2017. The County is contracted separately with Selectron and Selectron is working in conjunction with Accela on the Civic Platform Technology Upgrade Project.
Selectron will add their Custom Limit Inspections Module to enable VoicePermits to automatically limit the available inspection type by the contractor’s associated trade. This enhancement will determine if the associated contractor is eligible to schedule the requested type of inspection.
Prices, terms and conditions are as per General Services Administration (GSA) contract GS-35F-0315X .
Background/Explanation:
On April 25, 2017 the Board as part of the Accela project, approved a purchase authorization with Selectron to provide interactive voice response capability.
Fiscal Impact:
Original approved Board expenditure not to exceed $86,333.55
Increase in funds not to exceed $14,924.88
Revised expenditure not to exceed $101,258.43
Funding is derived from contingency funds within the Accela project budget within the Board Strategic Projects cost center of the BTS Fund.
Delegated Authority:
Authority for the County Administrator to approve the increase to this purchase authorization is granted under Code Section 2-164(a).
