Approval and execution by the County Administrator of the Agreement with Selectron Technologies Inc. (Selectron) for Selectron Platform Services for the Business Technology Services Department.
• This contract provides ongoing professional services related to a phone system menu driven selection system that is cloud based and integrates with Accela. This cloud solution will add functionality that is not available with the prior on-premises solution.
• This agreement has a total contract not-to-exceed amount of $591,627.00 for a period of five years.
• This is a non-competitive purchase that was reviewed and approved by the Non-Compete Committee on May 18, 2023.
• This replaces Contract No. 167-0248-G approved by Board of County Commissioners on April 25, 2017, in the amount of $2,415,467.76 and converts the current system from an on-site solution to a cloud solution.
• This is a multi-year contract with discounts year over year based on contract length.
• Funding was approved from BCC Strategic Projects cost center (642100) within the BTS Fund (5001) as proposed by BTS to BCC ELT. It is included in FY24 Adopted Budget.
Contract No. 23-0647-N in the total contract not-to-exceed amount of $591,637.00, effective for a period of five years.

Background/Explanation:
The existing Agreement with Selectron is an on-premises solution. This new cloud solution will add functionality that is not available with the on-premises solution. This is a five-year agreement with Selectron.
Fiscal Impact:
Five-year expenditure not-to-exceed: $591,637.00
Annual expenditure not-to-exceed: $118,327.40
Funds were allocated from BCC Strategic Project funds by the BCC ELT governance committee. Expenditures are within the FY24 BTS Adopted budget for BCC Strategic Projects (642110) within the BTS Fund (5001).
