Sitting as the Countywide Planning Authority, adopt an ordinance approving Case No. CW 17-4, a proposal by Pinellas County to amend the Countywide Plan Map from Employment and Target Employment Center to Residential Low Medium, regarding 11.2 acres more or less, located at 500 Anclote Road (regular amendment).

Summary:

Forward Pinellas, in its role as the Pinellas Planning Council, voted 13-0 to recommend approval of the proposal and staff concurs with this recommendation.  The Planners Advisory Committee recommended approval of this case by a vote of 12-0. 

The Board of County Commissioners, at its April 25, 2017 meeting, adopted the related #17-471A Case No. Q Z/LU-5-3-17: A resolution approving the application of Anclote Road Industrial Park, Inc. for a change in zoning from M-1, Light Manufacturing and Industry to R-5, Urban Residential.  An ordinance for approval of a change in land use designation from Employment to Residential Low, regarding approximately 11.23 acres located at 500 Anclote Road will go before the Board on July 18, 2017 as item #17-1088A.
