Approval and execution by the County Administrator of Second Amendment Term Extension to the agreement with Concrete on Call, Inc. to provide concrete mix materials, batch mix delivered - a Tampa Bay Area Cooperative Contract.
• This contract supplies concrete mix materials - batch mix delivered to the county, and other participating entities, for use on projects within their respective boundaries.
• This Second Amendment exercises a twelve (12) month extension revising the contract expiration date to May 8, 2026, and increases the contract not-to-exceed total in the amount of $819,570.00 for a revised contract not-to-exceed total of $2,458,710.00 for the County.
• Per code section 2-188(d), the County Administrator has the authority to approve “term extensions” awarded by the Board of County Commissioners per the pricing, terms, and conditions of the original award.
• On May 9, 2023, the Board of County Commissioners approved the twelve (12) month agreement in the amount of $819,570.00. On March 13, 2024, the County Administrator approved the First Amendment for the first twelve (12) month extension and increase in the amount of $819,570.00 for a revised expiration date of May 8, 2025, and contract not-to-exceed amount of $1,639,140.00
• Funding for this second amendment is included in the current-year budgets of Public Works in the Transportation Trust Fund, Parks Conservation Resources in the General Fund, and Utilities in the Water Revenue and Operating as well as Sewer Revenue and Operating Funds.
Contract No. 23-0285-ITB exercising the term extension per the original Board approved contract to increase by $819,570.00 for a revised contract not-to-exceed expenditure of $2,458,711.00, effective through May 8, 2026.

On March 13, 2024, the County Administrator approved the First Amendment for the first twelve (12) month term extension and increase in the amount of $819,570.00 for a revised expiration date of May 8, 2025 and contract not-to-exceed amount of $1,639,140.00.
