Summary
This is a case for monetary damages as a result of failure to remit proceeds from the sale of Pinellas County animal licenses.
In 2020, Dr. McGoldrick and the businesses he is affiliated with, Royal Pets Market & Resort St. Pete and Royal Pets Veterinary Center Palm Harbor entered Pinellas County’s License Reseller Program allowing them to resell Pinellas County animal licenses at a discounted rate. The County provided Dr. McGoldrick and the previously mentioned Royal Pets facilities with license certificates, tags and prepaid envelopes for the submission of paperwork and payment, however collectively, over $18,000.00 of collected license fees have not been remitted to Pinellas County.
Multiple attempts have been made to collect the monies owed to Pinellas County, to no avail. Dr. McGoldrick, Royal Pets Market & Resort St. Pete and Royal Pets Veterinary Center Palm Harbor have been removed from the program.
This authorization includes bringing suit against all defendants for all claims that are or may become necessary to fully litigate this action.
