Approval and execution by the County Administrator of the First Amendment to the Goods and Services Agreement with Fortiline Waterworks for industrial plumbing supplies.
• This contract is with Fortiline Waterworks for the purpose of supplying industrial plumbing services.
• The Amendment revises the Agreement to change the Contractor’s name due to a fictious name adoption and new W9 filing. The Contractor’s name changes from Fortiline Waterworks to Fortiline, Inc. d/b/a Fortiline Waterworks.
• On August 2, 2022 the Board of County Commissioners awarded a bid for industrial plumbing parts to the two lowest responsive, responsible bidders. Contract No. 22-0123-B was awarded to Fortiline Waterworks (Groups 1, 10, 15, 20, and unspecified funds) in the amount of $384,559.38 for industrial plumbing supplies.
• Acknowledgement and approval of this Name Change is necessary to complete the process of merging purchase orders addressed to the old corporate name, fulfill future requirements and to avoid payment delays due to supplier information discrepancies.
• There is no fiscal impact associated with this Amendment.
