Approval and execution by the County Administrator of the First Amendment to the Agreement with Ferguson Enterprises d/b/a Ferguson Waterworks (Ferguson)for the purchase of industrial plumbing supplies.

 

                     This contract is for industrial plumbing supplies to be used as needed for repair of water, sewer, and reclaimed pipelines for the Pinellas County Utilities Department.

                     The First Amendment is to increase the funds allocation for “Group 25 Miscellaneous Parts by Groups” in the amount of $266,807.82 due to depleted funds in this group, for a revised contract total of $2,660,533.67 with Ferguson.

                     On August 2, 2022, the Board of County Commissioners awarded this contract to Fortiline Waterworks in the amount of $384,559.38 and Ferguson in the amount of $2,393,725.85 for a combined contract value of $2,778,285.23 for a twenty-four-month term.

                     This contract is established as a maintenance, repair, and operating contract of which the County Administrator may approve increases up to 50% of the original Board of County Commissioners award amount per County Code 2-184(b).

                     Funds are available in Fiscal Year 2024 and will be derived from the Utilities Operating Budget.

 

Contract No. 22-0123-B-BW increase in the amount of $266,807.82 contract total of $2,660,533.67 with Ferguson and an overall total contract value of $3,045,093.05 with both vendors.

Background/Explanation:

This is a contract for industrial plumbing supplies to be used as needed for repair of water, sewer, and reclaimed pipelines for the Pinellas County Utilities Department (PCU).
