Approval of the ranking of firms and agreements with IT Resources (IT), SGS Technologie LLC (SGS), Infojini, Inc (Infojini), SoftHQ, Inc. (SoftHQ), and SoftSages Technology (SoftSages) for the requirements of staff augmentation (temporary staffing) services as needed by the Business Technology Services Department (BTS).

 

                     This contract provides temporary technology related staffing services from local and national firms to augment the County’s workforce with contracted labor to support American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) approved projects.

                     Funding is derived from the American Rescue Plan Act which expires December 31, 2026.

                     The total contract value between all five contractors is not to exceed $3,000,000.00, effective through December 31, 2026.

                     Fifty-three submissions were received and evaluated with IT, SGS, Infojini, SoftHQ and SoftSages deemed the highest ranked firms and recommended for award by BTS.

                     Funding is partially available in already-approved ARPA projects. Because these contracts were bid to include language and requirements contained in 2 CFR Part 200 - Uniform Administrative Requirements, they may also be used for any upcoming Federally Funded in addition to ARPA.

 

Contract No. 23-0063-RFP in the total amount not to exceed $3,000,000.00 effective through December 31, 2026; Authorize the Chairman to approve and the Clerk of the Circuit Court to attest.

Summary

This contract provides the Business Technology Services Department with technology related staffing augmentation services with local and national firms. Staff augmentation services are used to manage periods of increased workload, peak demands, special projects, seasonal needs or to provide workers on an immediate basis that may otherwise require a lengthy recruitment process.

Background Information:

A request for proposal was released by the Purchasing and Risk management Division on February 10, 2023, resulting in fifty-three (53) submissions. After evaluation of the proposals by the evaluation committee, BTS recommended award to the five (5) highest ranked firms, IT, SGS, Infojini, SoftHQ and SoftSages.

 

Fiscal Impact:

Estimated three-year expenditure not to exceed:                     $3,000,000.00

 

Funding is derived from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). ARPA project requests are approved by OMB and managed by the requesting department.
