Approval and execution by the County Administrator of the First Amendments with Island Way Property Services, LLC for Cyclical Maintenance and with Florida Dream Center for Optional Services to maintain alleyways located within the Lealman Community Redevelopment Area.

 

                     This contract provides alley maintenance services for one-hundred and seventy-six (176) alleyways located within the Lealman Community Redevelopment Area (CRA).

                     This First Amendment exercises a twelve (12) month extension, increasing the agreement with Island Way Property Services, LLC in the amount of $57,752.10 and increasing the agreement with Florida Dream Center in the amount of $63,855.00 for a revised combined total not to exceed expenditure of $241,532.10. The increases to the contract are simply for services to be provided over the term extension; it is not an increase to the contract due to additional or extended services.

                     This contract term extension is within the County Administrator’s approval authority per code section 2-188.

                     On March 8, 2022, the Board of County Commissioners approved the agreement with Island Way Property Services, LLC in the amount of $56,070.00 and Florida Dream Center in the amount of $63,855.00 for a twelve-month combined contract not to exceed expenditure of $119,125.00.

                     The funding is available within Lealman CRA, countywide TIF portion and is part of Fiscal Year (FY) 2023 Adopted Budget, FY23 Estimate and FY24 Requested Budget.

 

 

Contract No. 22-0110-B increase in the amount of $121,607.10 for a revised total not to exceed expenditure of $241,532.10, effective through March 7, 2024.

Background/Explanation:

On March 8, 2022, the Board of County Commissioners approved the agreement with Island Way Property Services, LLC in the amount of $56,070.00 and Florida Dream Center in the amount of $63,855.00 for a twelve-month combined contract not to exceed expenditure of $119,125.00 for alley maintenance services in the Lealman CRA.
