Sitting as the Countywide Planning Authority, adopt an ordinance approving Case No. CW 22-18, a proposal by Pinellas County to amend the Countywide Plan Map from Residential Medium to Residential High, regarding 4.3 acres more or less, located at 6464 54th Avenue North.
• The subject property is located in west Lealman, approximately 630 feet east of 66th Street North and directly north of 52nd Avenue North.
• The amendment area consists of a multifamily apartment complex with amenities, such as a pool.
• It is the intent of the applicant to construct additional multifamily dwelling units on the subject property, which would require an increase in density from what is currently allowed under the Residential Medium category, which permits a maximum of 15 units per acre (UPA).
• The applicant proposes an amendment to the Residential High category, which would permit a maximum of 30 UPA.
• Forward Pinellas and the Planners Advisory Committee each unanimously recommended approval of the proposal.
