Summary
This action is to recover property damage to a sewer line that occurred when DeGeorge Paving, Inc. placed an unreasonable amount of flowable fill into a depression on property owned by Boris and Vjekoslava Gauta. The fill went into and caused damage to a sewer line owned and operated by Pinellas County. Risk Management has been unsuccessful in their attempts to secure compensation from the property owners, driveway contractor, or their insurers.
This authorization includes bringing suit against all defendants that may be or become necessary to fully litigate this action.
