Approval by the County Administrator of the First Amendment to acknowledge the assignment of Bridge Tending Services from ISS Facility Services, Inc. to JanCo FS 2, LLC
• This contract provides bridge tending services for the Dunedin Causeway and Park Boulevard Bridges.
• The acknowledgment of this assignment is necessary to provide an accurate audit trail for future invoices and to avoid payment delays.
• The assignment of ISS Facility Services portfolio was finalized during the fourth quarter of 2021. The same staff (tenders and supervisors) will continue to service the agreement.
• The Board of County Commissioners awarded this contract on July 23, 2019 in the amount of $1,604,247.60 for an estimated average annual expenditure of $320,849.52.
Contract No. 189-0265-B(AJM) in the total amount of $1,604,247.60 through August 31, 2024. There is no fiscal impact with this amendment.

Summary:
The purpose of this amendment is to acknowledge the assignment of ISS Facility Services, Inc. portfolio to JanCo FS 2, LLC which includes Pinellas County’s bridge tending services and is necessary to provide an accurate audit trail for future invoices and to avoid payment delays.
This contract provides 24-hour bridge tending services for the Dunedin Causeway Bridge and the Park Boulevard Bridge.

The Board of County Commissioners awarded this contract on July 23, 2019 in the amount of $1,604,247.60.

There is no fiscal impact associated with this acknowledgment.
Current 60-month expenditure not to exceed: $1,604,247.60
Estimated average annual expenditure: $320,849.52
Funding is derived from the Public Works Department operating budget.
