Approval and execution by the County Administrator of Change Order No. 2 (Final) to the contract with Tappouni Mechanical Services, Inc. for the STAR Center Air Handler Replacement project

The purpose of this contract was for a firm to supply and install three air handler units (AHU).

Change Order No. 2 (final) decreases the contract by $8,293.00, ($3,293.00 for unused quantities plus $5,000.00 for unused contingency).  During Construction and installation of the electric duct heater, it was determined the new power circuit could originate from a power panel closer to the electric duct heater rather than originally designed; this reduced the material and labor cost.

This contract was awarded to Tappouni Mechanical Services, Inc. by the Board of County Commissioners on September 22, 2020 in the amount of $677,750.00.
