Approval and execution by the County Administrator of the First Amendment pertaining to a corporate acquisition of Reiss Engineering, Inc. to CHA Consulting, Inc.

 

                     This contract provides professional engineering services for the design delivery of various Utility projects on an individual work assignment basis.

                     First Amendment is for a corporate name change from Reiss Engineering, Inc. to CHA Consulting, Inc. due to a corporate acquisition.

                     All other terms of the agreement remain in full force and effect; there is no change to the original awarded contract amount.

                     The Board of County Commissioners (Board) awarded this contract on April 27, 2021 in the amount of $2.5M.

This request is for acknowledgment of a name change due to acquisition of Reiss Engineering, Inc. to CHA Consulting, Inc. All other terms and conditions of the contract remain the same.

 

Background/Explanation:

This contract was approved by the Board on April 27, 2021 in the amount of $2.5M per firm, with a total combined amount of $40M for 16 firms total.

This contract provides continuing engineering services for the design of various Utility projects.

 

Fiscal Impact:

There is no change to the original total contract amount.

 

Delegated Authority:

Authority for the County Administrator to acknowledge this name change is granted under Code Section 2-62(a)(2).
