Background Information:

The existing airfield electrical vault was installed in the 1950’s. This building is now undersized for the Airport’s operational needs, and is located immediately adjacent to the Terminal Building, thereby restricting any future expansion plans of the Terminal. This project will relocate the vault to a better location on the airfield and allow for the future expansion of the Terminal Building.

Fiscal Impact:

Amount not to exceed:                     $3,332,560.03

Funding for this project is derived from Passenger Facility Charges (PFC’s) which are fees collected per enplaned passenger. The Federal Aviation Administration has approved this project under the Airport’s PFC application process.
