Approval of Municipal Services Taxing Unit (MSTU) in the amount not to exceed $19,500.00 for Seminole Junior Warhawks Athletic Association for improvements to soccer fields.
• SJWAA is home to high participation baseball and soccer youth recreation sports programs in the unincorporated Seminole community.
• Improvements will include regrading low-lying areas that collect and hold water on five soccer playing fields.
• The project is consistent with the goals of the MSTU Special Projects program.

SJWAA is home to high participation baseball and soccer youth recreation sports programs. This project will address soccer fields 1 and 5-8. Soccer field 1 has numerous low spots that hold water which limit play and lead to field deterioration. Soccer fields 5-8 have a large swale on the east side which limits the functionality of this group of fields. These fields also suffer from poor drainage.
The project includes removing sod, adding fill dirt, regrading, and applying new sod to specific problematic areas on all five fields. This project will increase the soccer organization's ability to serve the youth in unincorporated Seminole.

SJWAA is home to high participation baseball and soccer youth recreation sports programs. To date, Seminole Junior Warhawks Athletic Association has received $40,656.40 from this fund for various improvements to the facility.
Fiscal Impact:
Appropriation to support this request is included in the FY21 adopted budget in the General Fund. The not to exceed amount is $19,500.00.
