Approval and execution by the County Administrator of the First Amendment to the Agreement with Stantec Consulting Services, Inc. for conceptual facility planning and real estate financial consulting services.

 

                     This contract provides for comprehensive Conceptual Facility Planning Services and Real Estate Financial Consulting on an enterprise basis to ultimately produce a Recommended Strategies Document.

                     The First Amendment extends the Agreement for seven months through October 26, 2021, to address pandemic impacts to the original schedule.

                     This contract was competitively solicited and awarded by the Board of County Commissioners on February 25, 2020.

 

Contract No. 190-0055-P (JJ); in the amount of $1,251,174.00 through October 26, 2021. This Amendment has no monetary impact to the contract.

Summary:

The First Amendment extends the agreement for seven months through October 26, 2021, to address pandemic impacts to the original schedule.

This contract provides for comprehensive Conceptual Facility Planning Services and Real Estate Financial Consulting on an enterprise basis and with initial focus on the Downtown Clearwater Campus, a centralized permitting facility, a review of County-owned vacant properties throughout the County, and the ultimate submission of a Recommended Strategies Document.

 

Background/Explanation:

This contract was originally approved by the BCC on February 25, 2020, in the amount of $1,251,174.00.

 

Fiscal Impact:

This Amendment has no monetary impact to the contract.

 

Approved to date not to exceed expenditure: $1,251,174.00

 

Funding is derived from the General Government budget within the General Fund.

 

Delegated Authority:

Authority for the County Administrator to approve and execute this Amendment is granted under Code Section 2-188(d).
