Background Information:

The Board, per Florida Statute Section 274.05, authorizes the County to donate surplus property to other governmental units or private nonprofit agencies in the county or district. As a potential recipient, the County will provide F-DARN with notice of available surplus property prior to advertisement of the items for sale. This will provide them with an opportunity to acquire the surplus items by donation.

In addition to the attached list of Social Action Non-Profit Agencies, the following entities are provided advanced notification of County surplus personal property: Suwannee County, Juvenile Welfare Board, Pinellas County School Board, Palm Harbor Community Services Association (PHCSA), Vincent House, Florida Dream Center, Creative Pinellas, Keep Pinellas Beautiful, and the Seminole Junior Warhawks Athletic Association.
