Approval of the award of bid to Allied Roofing, Inc. (Allied) for the South Cross Bayou Roof Replacement project.
• This contract consists of replacing the roofing systems on four separate buildings at the South Cross Bayou Advanced Water Reclamation Facility.
• Three bids were received with Allied recommended for award as the lowest responsive and responsible bidder in the amount of $410,360.00.
• All work will be completed within one hundred twenty consecutive calendar days.
• The Small Business Enterprise goal is 10% for this contract.
Contract No. 190-0429-CP(PLU); PID No. 004489A; in the amount of $410,360.00; all work will be completed within 120 consecutive calendar days. Authorize the Chairman to sign and the Clerk of the Circuit Court to attest.

Summary
The purpose of this project is to replace the roofing systems of four separate buildings at the South Cross Bayou Advanced Water Reclamation Facility (SCBAWRF). The buildings to receive new roofs include the maintenance, generator #4, electronics technicians and the de-chlorination buildings. Work consists of removing the existing roof membranes, insulation boards, accessories, and flashings down to the existing structural deck on all four buildings and replacing with a styrene-butadiene-styrene (sbs) modified bituminous membrane roofing system, expected to have a 30-year service life. The product includes a twenty (20) year service guarantee.

The buildings that are receiving new roofs are close to thirty (30) years old. Roofing on these buildings have reached the end of their useful service life and require replacement.
Fiscal Impact:
120-day expenditure not to exceed: $410,360.00.
Funding for this agreement is derived from the Sewer Renewal and Replacement Fund.
