• The purpose of this project was to construct a two (2) story metal prefabricated building and associated site work located on Airport property.
• Change Order No. 1 (final) reconciles outstanding project expenditures and completes the project within the original contract amount.
• Award of bid to Lema was approved by the Board of County Commissioners (Board) on October 23, 2018 in the amount of $2,895,493.00.

Summary:
Change Order No. 1 (final) accepts the contract as complete. The project was substantially complete on December 10, 2019 and obtained final completion on September 3, 2020. Final inspections of the project for all work performed under the contract were conducted by representatives of the Airport.
Background/Explanation:
Award of contract to Lema was approved by the Board on October 23, 2018 in the amount of $2,895,493.00.
This project consisted of the construction of a new two (2) story metal prefabricated building and associated site work located on Airport property. The new maintenance facility will provide a larger, modern space as well as ease of access to the Airport terminal and grounds. The final expenditure was $2,895,493.00 and work was completed within two hundred seventy (270) consecutive calendar days.
Work included pavement and miscellaneous demolition; construction of building foundations; site grading; storm water; asphalt pavement; pavement markings; area lighting and miscellaneous electrical; sewer; water; telephone/data/communications; signage; landscaping and fencing.
