Background Information:
The appointment is nominated by Commissioner Eggers to fulfill the unexpired term of Susanne Hebert who resigned on 7/31/2020.
Feather Sound Community Services District (FSCSD), Inc is a non-profit corporation that is contracted by the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) to administer and operate business affairs of the Feather Sound Municipal Services Taxing Unit.
FSCSD is organized for the purpose of providing street lighting and the acquisition, development, and maintenance of recreational areas and green space for the residents of Feather County. The services are funded by a one mill tax assessed annually on property within the municipal services taxing district and shown with other taxes on annual property tax notices.
The FSCSD board is composed of seven volunteer members from the Feather Sound community appointed by the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners. The board meets regularly as announced by public notice. The meetings are open to the public with residents and visitors welcome to attend.
