Approval of the award to bid with Commercial Landscape Professionals, Inc. d/b/a Trimac Outdoor for landscape and irrigation maintenance services.
• This contract is for landscape maintenance services to include: edging; weeding; tree, shrub and palm pruning and mulching; irrigation system maintenance and repair; pest control; and fertilizing and maintenance of perennial groundcover beds.
• The contract will be utilized throughout various Administrative Services Department Facilities and Real Property Division locations in the County and will be managed by Parks and Conservation Resources Department.
• Three responsive bids were received with Commercial Landscape Professionals, Inc. d/b/a Trimac Outdoor recommended for award as the lowest, responsible bid received.
• This contract is a result of the bifurcation of the historically larger mowing and landscape contract.
Bid No. 189-0354-B(AJM) in the annual amount of $307,380.00 for a five-year total of $1,536,900.00. Authorize the Chairman to sign and the Clerk of the Circuit Court to attest.

Background Information:
On March 10, 2020 the Purchasing Department released an invitation to bid to establish a contract for landscape and maintenance throughout Pinellas County. 422 vendors were invited to this invitation to bid and including 21 small business firms. Three vendors responded to this bid with Commercial Landscape Professionals, Inc. d/b/a Trimac Outdoor as the lowest, responsive responsible bidder.
Fiscal Impact:
Estimated five year expenditure not to exceed: $1,536,900.00
Estimated annual expenditure not to exceed: $ 307,380.00
Funding is derived from Parks and Conservation Resources operating budget.
