Approval and execution by the County Administrator of Change Order No. 1 (final) to the contract with KOBO Utility Construction Corp. for the St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (Airport) Navigational AIDs project.
• This project provided for the installation of precision approach path indicator systems on Airport runways.
• The Board of County Commissioners (BCC) awarded this project on July 23, 2019 to KOBO Utility Construction Corp. in the amount of $265,150.00.
• Final completion occurred on December 17, 2019 with a decrease in the amount of ($8,892.05) based on the difference between preliminary and final quantities.
Contract No. 189-0397-CP(SCB); decrease to the contract in the amount of ($8,892.05) for a final revised contract expenditure of $256,257.95.

Summary:
Change Order No. 1 (final) decreases the BCC approved expenditure by ($8,892.05) and accepts the contract as complete. The reduction in expenditure is due to the difference between the preliminary estimated quantities and the final quantities. Substantial completion for this project was achieved on December 9, 2019. Final acceptance was granted on December 17, 2019.
