Approval by the County Administrator of the first and final term extension to the contract with NDL, LLC for requirements of maintenance of roadway medians, right of ways, ponds and outparcels.
• This contract for maintenance of roadway medians, right of ways, ponds etc. with NDL, has provision for one (1) twelve (12) month extension.
• The original agreement was approved by the Board of County Commissioners (Board) on April 24, 2018.
• The Public Works Department is satisfied with NDL’s performance requesting to extend the contract for the first and final twelve-month extension in the amount of $620,000.00
Contract No. 178-0178-B(AM); in the amount of $620,000.00 for a term of twelve (12) months through April 23, 2021.

Summary:
This term extension is for the continued grounds maintenance of Pinellas County’s roadway medians, right of ways, ponds and outparcels (right of way mowing) for the Public Works Department.
The present vendor’s services have been satisfactory; therefore, it is recommended the first and final term extension be exercised at the same prices, terms and conditions.
Background/Explanation:
This contract was originally approved by the Board on April 24, 2018 with provision for one (1) twelve (12) month term extension.
Fiscal Impact:
Estimated twelve (12) month expenditure not to exceed: $620,000.00
Funding is derived from the Public Works Department operating budget.
Delegated Authority:
Authority for the County Administrator to approve this term extension is granted under Code Section 2-188
