Sitting as the Countywide Planning Authority, adopt an ordinance approving Case No. CW 19-23, a proposal by the City of Largo, to amend the Countywide Plan Map from Residential Low Medium to Public/Semi-Public, regarding 2.16 acres more or less, located at 1651 McMullen Road, Largo.                      

 

                     The subject property is currently being used as a single-family home.

                     The Lake House Assisted Living Facility located west of the property desires to expand by incorporating the subject property.

                     The intended use is consistent with the character and scale of institutional uses adjacent to the property.

                     Forward Pinellas and the Planners Advisory Committee each voted unanimously to recommend approval of this proposal.

Forward Pinellas, in its role as the Pinellas Planning Council, voted 10-0 to recommend approval of the proposal.  The Planners Advisory Committee recommended approval of the case by a vote of 10-0.
