Summary:
Upon the advice of outside counsel and with the approval of the Chair, litigation was filed against Lend Lease (US) Construction, Inc. and their surety, Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, for construction defects at the Public Safety Facilities and Centralized Communication Center (PSF/CCC). Liberty Mutual Insurance Company provided the performance bond for the construction pursuant to Lend Lease’s contract with the County. Due to timing constraints, the matter was unable to be brought before the Board as an agenda item before filing.

This is a companion case to litigation authorized by the Board on March 20, 2018.
