Approval of the appointments of seven members to the Council for Persons with Disabilities. The term of office shall be two years.

Background Information:
Seven of the thirteen members of the Council for Persons with Disabilities (Council) are individual appointments by each member of the Board of County Commissioners (Board). Two other applications were received, and all names are listed on the Worksheet form attached.
The other members are appointed by the organizations listed in Pinellas County Ordinance Section 70-403(a). The Board approved the Ordinance creating the Council at its March 7, 2017 meeting.
The six organizations are:
1.) Disability Achievement Center
2.) Florida Gulf Coast paralyzed Veterans of America
3.) Boley Centers
4.) Family Network on Disabilities
5.) Area Agency on Aging of Pasco-Pinellas, Inc.
6.) Providing Advocacy & Recognizing Capabilities (PARC)
