Summary:
This name change was effected to provide for simplification of the labeling of offices throughout the United States. The corporate name is now US Ecology Tampa and removes the “doing business as”. This name change has no impact on the prices, terms and conditions of the contract.
Background/Explanation:
This contract was awarded by the Board of County Commissioners on February 27, 2018.
This contract provides household chemical waste collection services for the Solid Waste Department (Solid Waste). Services include the disposal of household hazardous chemical wastes using the most environmentally responsible method available, as well as providing household mobile collection events sponsored by the County. Additionally, services include business collection events at the County’s collection center located at the Solid Waste facility.
Fiscal Impact:
Estimated sixty (60) month expenditure not to exceed: $3,254,517.50
Estimated annual expenditure not to exceed: $650,903.50
Funding is derived from the Solid Waste Operating Budget
