Substantial completion for this project was achieved on September 5, 2018; final completion was accepted on October 18, 2018. The protracted time between expected and actual final completion was necessary in order to complete the walk thru inspection with project stakeholders, punch list items, project acceptance, receipt and approval of certified “as builts” which included final approval of the Engineer of Record. Liquidated damages have been assessed in the amount of $55,702.40 for a fifty-two (52) Calendar Day delay in completing the project. As part of this change order, the Agreement term is increased by eighteen (18) calendar days.
