• Six responsive bids received, award in the amount of $425,492.00.
• The project consists of the cleaning, video recording and installation of cured in place pipe.
• The sewer pipes required rehabilitation through lining due to age deterioration.
Bid No. 189-0038 -CP (JJ); PID No. 002747B; in the amount of $ 425,492.00 on the basis of being the lowest responsive, responsible bid received meeting specifications. All work is expected to be completed within 365 consecutive calendar days. Authorize the Chairman to sign and the Clerk of the Court to attest.

Summary:
The purpose of this project is to clean, video, and install cured in place pipe (CIPP) in existing 8” and 10” gravity sewers. Project work consists of cutting in lateral connections to the newly installed CIPP liners, rehabilitating manholes, raising manholes to grade, locating manholes and all associated work.
Background Information:
This sewers in this are required maintenance due to deterioration of existing pipe infrastructure due to age. The CIPP method does not require excavation, is considered a trenchless technology, and has a reduced impact on the areas where pipe rehabilitation is required.
Fiscal Impact:
Expenditure not to exceed: $425,492.00
Project funding is derived from the Utilities Sanitary Sewer Enterprise Fund.
