Background Information:
Advises on matters pertaining to Heritage Village and prospective historical objects, facilities, and records to be displayed at Heritage Village. This board consists of nine members. Seven members are nominated by the individual members of the Board of County Commissioners and appointed jointly by the BCC. One member is appointed by the Junior League of Clearwater/Dunedin and one member is appointed by the Pinellas County Historical Society. The seven members appointed by the BCC serve terms concurrent with that of their nominating commissioner (typically four years). The two member appointed by the Junior League and Historical Society serve four-year terms starting upon the actual date of appointment.
