Background Information:
The Parks and Conservation Resources Advisory Board acts in an advisory capacity to the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners and the County Administrator in their power to provide parks, preserves, historical commissions and other recreational and cultural programs.
The Board of County Commissioners nominate for individual appointments for 1 year terms to run concurrently with their term.
There are 10 members; seven members are individually appointed by each Commissioner; one appointed by the Youth Advisory Committee; and two members appointed by the Board of County Commissioners.
