Approve a citizen appointment to the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) Board to serve a 3 year term: October 1, 2018 to September 30, 2021.

Background Information:
Each appointed member of PSTA Board shall be a person who is a qualified elector of the county with an outstanding reputation for civic pride, interest, integrity, responsibility, and business ability. The citizen appointment may not be an elected official, nor may she/he be employed by any city or of the county in any capacity.
Members may not have any private financial interest, directly or indirectly, in any contract, work, or business of PSTA or any public transit system subject to regulation by PSTA or be in the employ of or hold any stock, bond, investment or other financial interest or private business relationship to any operator of a public transit system in the area.
PSTA Board positions are unpaid, voluntary positions. This is a working board and the BCC is seeking a citizen appointment member who can dedicate the time to attend monthly meetings on a consistent basis. The PSTA Board consists of 15 members. Eight of the 15 members must be present in order to hold a meeting. All meetings are open to the public.
