Approval of the award of bid to VacVision Environmental, LLC for sanitary sewer manhole rehabilitation projects for Fiscal Year 2017-2019.

Bid No. 178-0430-CP (JJ); PID No. 001814B; in the amount of $410,416.50 on the basis of being the lowest responsive, responsible bid received meeting specifications. All work is expected to be completed within 365 consecutive calendar days. Authorize the Chairman to sign and Clerk of Court to attest.

Summary:

This contract will provide for videoing, grouting, and lining rehabilitation of sanitary sewer manholes.

 

Background Information:

Work may include furnishing and installing manhole liners, stainless steel inserts, manhole ring and cover adjustments, maintenance of traffic, restoration, videoing manholes, and any other incidental work required to re-commission the sewer manhole, along with miscellaneous incidental construction.  The scope of work for these manhole rehabilitation projects was recommended for approval by the Wastewater/Stormwater Task Force.  Attached are anticipated project locations.  

 

Fiscal Impact:

Expenditure not to exceed: $410,416.50

 

Project funding is derived from the Utilities Sanitary Sewer Enterprise Fund.
