Summary:

The firms on the attached provider list have completed an initial application and have met the Authority’s inspection requirement to operate as a non-medical wheelchair/stretcher van transport business in Pinellas County.

Two of the firms, Checker Cab and West Coast Transportation, have the same owner and do business under the same fictitious name but require a separate COPCN for each named company.

There are currently fourteen (14) authorized wheelchair/stretcher transport providers in Pinellas County. This action would increase that number to eighteen (18) authorized providers.

If approved, the COPCNs will expire June 30, 2019.
